Directed by Anurag Singh (Kesari), Border 2 is the spiritual successor to J.P. Dutta’s 1997 cult classic. While the first film immortalized the Battle of Longewala, this sequel shifts the lens to the 1971 India-Pakistan War, specifically focusing on the high-stakes Battle of Basantar.

Border 2 is currently enjoying an exclusive theatrical run. Given its massive opening (earning nearly ₹70 crore in its first two days), the makers are focusing entirely on the cinema experience.

Where will it stream?

The official digital partner for Border 2 is Netflix. The streaming giant secured the post-theatrical rights, which was even teased during the film's opening credits.

When will it be on OTT?

While no date is set in stone, standard industry windows suggest a March or April 2026 digital premiere.
